Coordinator

The coordinator of the Arkansas Geographic Alliance is:

Dr. Brooks Green
Dr. Green arrived in Arkansas in 1980 when he began to work at the University of Central Arkansas in the Department of Geography. He served as co-coordinator of the Alliance with Dr. Jerry Hanson from 1991 to 2007. In January 2007, he became the coordinator of the Alliance. Dr. Green's academic interests are immigration and settlement patterns of 19th century Arkansas and demographic and environmental issues in the Russian Federation.
